This week is my last week in London, I will be back Shanghai next Monday.

 

Really enjoy here very much. hope time could stop so that i do not need to go back..........

 

This week both Molly and I try our best to enjoy the last few days in London.

Monday PANAMAX desk invite us a dinner in a Scottish restaurant,

Tuesday my dear Liana invite me a North-African dinner called Manago - maybe I spell it wrong.

Wednesday I tried to go shopping but only brought back some perfume (later I calculated, it is not that cheap as in HK), the reason for I did not able to buy a lot of things is that the shops close very early and the clothes size is too big for me. The smallest size is Size 8 but still a little big to me. I really want to buy an evening dress in COAST but... they just do not fit me! what a pity!!!!!!

Today is Thursday, Neil will bring three girls together to a western restaurant - Molly, Liana, and me. It sounds a very good restaurant. I think we will enjoy it.

Tommorow is Friday, havent planned yet. If no plan for the evening, I think I will go to Oxford Street again try to buy some things (........oh, my credit card.........) and since shops close early I will be back home early and have a good sleep.

 

The flight is on Sunday, I plan to sleep as more as I can on the plane so that I can work on Monday.

 

London trip BLOG is going to be over.

 

Hope I will have chances to come back London in the future.

Last week is a fantastic week I think. I worked from Monday to Wednesday and then went to Sweden for my graduation ceremony there on Thursday and came back on this Monday.

 

Compared with Shanghai or London, Malmo in Sweden does look like a village.  It is very peaceful there and people are very kind and nice.

 

Thursday morning I got up at about 7 o’clock, after my breakfast I went to the London City Airport to catch my flight to Copenhagen in Denmark. The SAS was late for about one hour but anyway it did not matter a lot to me. Finally the plan arrived in Copenhagen Kurtrup Airport at about 12:30 in the noon local time, and I took a train to Malmo, crossed the famous bridge and arrived in Malmo at about 1:30 pm.  Then I met a very nice guy, he guided me to the WMU and Shuo Ma gave me the keys for my hostel and Peter brought me there. Thanks to all those people who once helped me indeed. And ….. I washed my face, had some make-up then went out to the central city for a rough sight.

 

My classmates came back at about 7:00pm and a kind elder schoolmate invited us for a dinner. From then on, my life in Malmo started.

 

Friday we went to visit the second biggest port in Malmo, and also had a good lunch in another port and ……. Shit my English, I think I must be too tired, can not write anything now………. Anyway go on………

 

Friday evening we had a party in a nearby hotel. It was not a good party. The food there was just soso. And we went back home early after the dinner.

 

Saturday we had rehearsal for our graduation ceremony and this was the only day for us to go shopping. Actually I only have about several hours for shopping. I bought some H&M clothes and gifts for friends. In the evening another party held by Chinese students took place in the hostel basement.  The officers in consulate also attended the party.  And that dinner was quite good. Delicious, I love it indeed.

 

Sunday, the ceremony took us almost the whole day. A party also held after the ceremony. The food are all western food, hoho, not so delicious as previous day’s Chinese food. Anyway I like the fresh fish.

 

Monday we together said byebye to Malmo and went to the Copenhagen Airport. We arrived there at about 12:00 and after checking in all my luggage I said goodbye to my teachers and classmates, went to the central city of Copenhagen for a short trip. And back to the airport before 3:30. My flight is on time and left about 16:30. I slept for a while on the plane and arrived in London about 5:30pm and reached my dear home about 6pm.  In fact really tired. But when Molly came back, I still felt very happy to see her and went to the supermarket with her.  We two did not go to sleep until 12 pm.

 

I slept deep. And the alarm woke up me about 6:45am. I went to the office early today since I know a lot of msgs are waiting for me……  finally finished reading them and go on my work…………..

 

Now we can access to the internet in the apartment. Let me try if I can put some photos on the BLOG…….later........ ^0^

Now I think most of my friends are enjoyoing their holidays but since I am in London I still need to work here.

Below text wrote last weekend...

Finally have time to write my BLOG. Actually kept being  busy last week ..... that is the capitalism. Haha.

Get up about 7 o’clock in the morning every day and then arrive at the office at about 7:50. Always feel very very tired when return back home around or after 6:00 pm. No lunch break I think, cause almost everybody have lunch in office or go out for a sandwich and back in 10 minutes. So do as Rome does while in Rome………

 

Let me sort out what I did these days.

Cannot remember exactly, just do daily work and finished two Charter Parties, and also made the files here in order today. Now I found out that working in a broker company as a post fixture is just like working as a farmer in the farm – both are physical work indeed.

 

Monday 25 Oct

Molly and I went to the supermarket and bought some food for this week. Here I have to mention that the food in UK is really expensive.  You know what a normal sandwich will cost you about 2 to 3 ponds, that is about 30 to 45 RMB!!!  How expensive!!! And one small bottle of coca cola will cost me about 1 pond – 15 RMB actually. Now I am missing all the Chinese food indeed.

 

Wednesday 27 Oct

I went to the National Gallery after work and how lucky I am that it is open until 9:00pm, so I got a quick look in it. I think I prefer it to the British Museum.

 

Thursday 28 Oct

Again supermarket and bought I big bottle of water so that we have plenty of water now at home.

 

Friday 29 Oct

Thank Neil for his bringing me to a Chinese restaurant for lunch and it is a buffet. It was my first time here in London having Chinese food as a meal. And I went back home early that day because I booked a trip to Stonehenge and Baths on Saturday from a travel agency called Anderson Tour.

 

Saturday 30 Oct

Haha, a trip to Stonehenge and Baths.

I got up very early around 6:00am to catch the coach near London Bridge Station on 7:30. It was a really heavy rain in the morning. My shoes almost got wet on my way to the station. And the coach was a bit late I think it was because of the rain. Then I had a not so comfortable sleep in the coach and it was lucky that when we arrived in Stonehenge the rain stopped. Hoho, Stonehenge is really a Stone Henge. HAHA, only stones there. I took some photos there and bought a gift there then we went to Baths.

Neil said Baths is a nice place. And it is. We visited the famous Rome Baths and what a pity we only spend about 3 hours there that I can not look around all the places on foot by myself but the tour bus gave us a round tour in the city and did provide us a overview sight of the city. And I also bought some gifts there. Haha.

And when I arrived at home it almost over 7:00pm. Really exhausted so I went to bed soon.

 

Sunday 1 Oct

I got up late and went to the Buckingham Palace and Queen’s Gallery. And also the Big Ben, London Eye, and so on…….

The ticket in Buckingham Palace and Queen’s Gallery cost me about 12.5 ponds I think. But I did spend a lot of money on the gifts!!!

In fact, all the gifts are around 10 ponds each. Some even more expensive. So all are about 150 to 200 RMB, some expensive one maybe over 300RMB. Haha, so those guys who will receive my gifts really should invite me a meal indeed. WA-HA-HA…. Then I will realize my plan to get fatter. Haha.

Sunday evening, Mr Xi Jueliang and Mr Hu Wei invite Molly and I a very good Chinese dinner in the China Town. Thanks them very much indeed.

And we also bought something in the China Town.

 

 

Hoho, I think that is all for my last week and I will go on with my work now…….
